Exceptional provenance: private collection of Jean Zuber, founder of the Zuber Manufacture and rival of Jacquemart. This scenic hung in the dining room of his private home the “Commanderie” in Rixheim, Alsace, until it was recently put on the market by the Zuber descendants.

One version of “Les Chasses” is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and one in the Musée de la Chasse, Paris.
